THANKSGIVING 2011

THANKSGIVING DAY

On November 24, 2011, students in 1st and 2nd grade learned about the American holiday Thanksgiving Day which took place that Thursday in the United States. Language assistant, Becky Tehan, explained the holiday to the children and showed pictures of how it is celebrated with family and lots of food. The students learned a Thanksgiving song about a turkey, and they then drew pictures of turkeys using the outline of their own hands. Here are some pictures!

HALLOWEEN 2011

In our school
we also celebrated Halloween this year.
Although we did not
dress up, yes we like to do activities with monsters, skeletons, pumpkins, witches and other scary pictures ...
Scary!
