Children of 2nd grade did the phases of the Moon with cookies Oreo in Art. These are the phases of the Moon: full, quarter, crescent and new.

On January 30, 2012, we celebrated Peace Day, we explained to the children Gandhi's biography with a Powerpoint about his life.

THANKSGIVING 2011

THANKSGIVING DAY

On November 24, 2011, students in 1^st and 2^nd grade learned about the American holiday Thanksgiving Day which took place that Thursday in the United States. Language assistant, Becky Tehan, explained the holiday to the children and showed pictures of how it is celebrated with family and lots of food. The students learned a Thanksgiving song about a turkey, and they then drew pictures of turkeys using the outline of their own hands. Here are some pictures!
